The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
